Transmission of Conflict
Installation View, Solo Exhibition
Galerie Kusseneers, Antwerp, Belgium
2003

Combining the notion of the "museum audio guide" with the voice-over commentaries of directors and critics found on many dvd movies, I wrote and recorded a narrative sound piece heard on headphones in front of the paintings. It supplemented the painting series with strange, conspiratorial stories involving the film, from Sinatra's role as a presidential assassin in the earlier film Suddenly (1954), to a surreal and ultimately tragic story told by director John Frankenheimer regarding his friendship with Senator Robert Kennedy. (see Little Triggers Script under the Writings section)
